Update Requirements
When upgrading from version 6, read the New Features and Upgrader's Guide for critical instructions and descriptions of changes. If you are upgrading to 7.60 or higher from an earlier version of 7.xx (7.43, for example), you can use the simpler instructions in the Catapult 7.x to 7.7+ Upgrader's Guide.
You must be at release 6.10 or higher to upgrade to release 7. To verify your Catapult iSeries release level open the Catapult Console and select the Help/Test Connection menu option or run the command: DSPDTAARA XL_CATAPLT/SP_CATAPLT. To check the PC release launch the Catapult Console and select the Help/About option.
If you are at an earlier release and wish to upgrade please contact Technical Support.
Updates for Catapult 7.72 - 2012/04/2
There are no updates available for release 7.72 at this time. Recent enhancements include:
- Resolved issue where Split segments were adding question marks in place of certain characters.
- Made a subtle change to the history list conversation to avoid time out issues.
- Changed how Catapult moves files. Moving a network file will now replace an existing file with that same name.
Catapult 7.7 (Server and Client) - 2011/08/03
Note Changes to the Exodus Subsystem: As of version 7.60 Catapult uses a new version of Exodus that is not backward compatible with our other products. The new Exodus is called EXODUS51 and defaults to port 4015. It is located in a new library called XL_EX51.
If Exodus is started from your Start-up CL then you will have to change the start-up command to STRSBS XL_EX51/EXODUS51. If you have other BCD client/server products like WebSmart, Presto or Spool Explorer you will have to start both the EXODUS and the EXODUS51 subsystems. If you have any questions at all about this please contact our support office.

Features:
- This version is V6R1 (and higher) ready. Download this version if you are upgrading your system to V6R1 or higher, but aren't yet ready to upgrade to Catapult 7.
- The administrator will now be notified of several additional types of email errors.
